When PCR is extended during a TPM2 operation, the internal counter of the TPM2 will detect a new extension. systemd already retry this operation several times, but sometimes the report will be an error, and will refer to the wrong PCR. This situation happends when IMA is enabled (when secure boot is active, for example). PCR 10 will receive an extension for each new kernel module that is loaded, logging in the journal errors that are recovered later after a subsequent retry.
